Ra Ra Riot hails from Syracuse, New York, where the six-piece pop band initially formed in January 2006. When they're not busy melding orchestral strings with standard pop-rock instruments, the photogenic band members enjoy "shaking the hands of foreign dignitaries, practicing, playing shows, eating pizza, and going about the business of everyday life."

Also appearing in Green Room installment is Mixel Pixel, the psychedelic brainchild of musician/artist Rob Corradetti. The group formed in 1998 in Delaware before expanding to a quartet and relocating to Brooklyn.

Welcome back! The Green Room's second installment features the orchestrated stylings of Ra Ra Riot, who combine their harmonized voices with cello, violin, keyboards, guitar, bass, and drums. Phew. On February 21, 2006, Ra Ra Riot joined the costumed kids in Mixel Pixel to form the inaugural lineup for Push Play, Baeble's monthly concert series. This kickoff Push Play event was held in The Canal Room, where VIPS mingled behind the soundboard while audience members danced up front.
