Green Room - Young Love
bio

Young Love is headed by Dan Keyes, who fronted the post-grunge band Recover from 2001-2004. After releasing three albums with that previous band, Keyes moved from Texas to New York City in search of a change. Within months, the singer/songwriter had amassed a number of slick, stylish songs that had more in common with Bloc Party and The Killers than the aggressive sounds of Recover. Young Love was born, and a record deal with Island Def Jam surfaced before the end of 2005.

Young Love tested their new material at Manhattan clubs in the summer of 2006, and dates opening for Head Automatica followed in August. Following the success of the Discotech EP, the band releases its full-length debut, Too Young to Fight It, in January 2007.

Welcome to Baeble Music's first installment of the Green Room, where we take you inside the concert experience. We're kicking things off with Young Love, whose debut album Too Young To Fight It was released on January 30th, 2007. That very same evening, Young Love took their catchy pop tunes to the Sun Factory, where a private crowd of fans and industry execs rubbed shoulders and enjoyed complimentary champagne while they danced.

Check out this 30-minute show for the backstage interviews, the soundcheck mechanics, the onstage performance, and everything in between.
